Der Château Cheval Blanc 2021 ist ein herausragender Premier Grand Cru Classé A aus Saint-Émilion. Er präsentiert sich in einer tiefen, intensiven dunkelroten Farbe. Das Bouquet besticht durch reife rote Früchte wie Himbeeren und Kirschen, ergänzt durch Noten von Zigarrenhülle, Rauch, Rosenblättern und Veilchen. Am Gaumen zeigt der Wein eine kraftvolle und zugleich geschmeidige Struktur mit umhüllenden Tanninen. Die Säure ist gut integriert und verleiht dem Wein eine bemerkenswerte Frische. Der Abgang ist langanhaltend und harmonisch.

Die Cuvée des Jahrgangs 2021 besteht aus 52 % Cabernet Franc, 43 % Merlot und 5 % Cabernet Sauvignon. Der hohe Anteil an Cabernet Franc verleiht dem Wein seine aromatische Intensität und Struktur, während Merlot für Geschmeidigkeit und Fruchtigkeit sorgt. Cabernet Sauvignon trägt zur Tiefe und Langlebigkeit des Weins bei.

Der Jahrgang 2021 war geprägt von herausfordernden Wetterbedingungen, dennoch gelang es Cheval Blanc, einen Wein von außergewöhnlicher Qualität zu produzieren. Die sorgfältige Weinbergsarbeit und präzise Vinifikation spiegeln sich in der Eleganz und Komplexität dieses Weins wider.
