Der Moscato Rosa DOC 2023 von Franz Haas ist ein süßer Rotwein. Er zeichnet sich durch seine leuchtend rubinrote Farbe und ein intensives, aromatisches Bouquet mit Noten von Rosen, Nelken, Zimt und Orangenschale aus. Am Gaumen präsentiert er sich komplex und elegant, mit einer harmonischen Balance zwischen Säure, Süße und feinen Tanninen. Die Rebsorte Moscato Rosa ist bekannt für ihre ausgeprägten blumigen und würzigen Aromen. Eine Besonderheit dieses Weins ist die sorgfältige Vinifikation: Die Trauben werden wie Rotwein verarbeitet, jedoch mit verkürzter Mazerationszeit, um übermäßige Tanninextraktion zu vermeiden. Die Gärung wird durch Kühlung gestoppt, um die gewünschte Restsüße zu erhalten. Die Weinberge liegen auf 250 bis 300 Metern Höhe in gut belüfteten Lagen, was die Entwicklung von Edelfäule verhindert und die aromatische Vielfalt bewahrt.
