Rosenmuskateller IGT DV 2023 from Kaltern Winery is a unique wine that makes optimal use of South Tyrol's exceptional climate and soil conditions. This wine is characterized by its light cherry red color and a beguiling aroma of rose petals, linden blossoms and nutmeg, which is typical of the Moscato Rosa grape. On the palate, it reveals a harmonious sweetness combined with a rich, aromatic finish.

The Moscato Rosa grape from which this wine is made is known for its sophisticated cultivation and the low yields it delivers. This grape grows particularly well in the calcareous and porphyry-rich soils around Lake Kaltern, where it benefits from a microclimate characterized by warm, sunny days and cool nights. These conditions allow the grapes to ripen optimally and develop intense aromas.

Rosenmuskateller IGT from Kellerei Kaltern undergoes a one-week mash fermentation at a controlled temperature and a subsequent four-month storage on fine yeast in stainless steel tanks, which gives it its characteristic freshness and depth.
