The Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva DOC Campaner 2021 from the Kaltern winery is an outstanding red wine that impresses with its depth, complexity and elegance. On the nose, it has an intense aroma of dark berries, in particular ripe blackberries and juicy sour cherries, as well as tempting notes of chocolate. Its color is a deep ruby red, which reflects the concentration and richness of the wine

The main grape variety in this wine is Cabernet Sauvignon, a world-renowned variety known for its powerful tannins and ability to develop complex aromas. The grapes are carefully grown on the sun-drenched slopes of the vineyards around Kaltern. The soil, characterized by calcareous soils and a balanced climate, offers ideal conditions for growing this noble grape variety.

The special feature of this wine lies in its Riserva status, which indicates that it has undergone a longer aging period both in cask and in the bottle. This aging process gives the wine an additional dimension of complexity and enables a harmonious integration of tannins and fruitiness. The result is a wine with a rich taste, gripping tannin, plenty of fruit and a velvety mouthfeel that leaves a long and impressive finish.
