The Merose Rosé IGT 2024 from Weingut Kornell is a fascinating cuvée made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Lagrein grape varieties. These grapes come from the vineyards in Siebeneich, which are located on a south-west facing slope at an altitude of 300 meters. This location offers ideal conditions for grape ripening, supported by the mild climate and rich vegetation of South Tyrol.
The wine is presented in a bright, bright lache pink. Its bouquet is fragrant and seduces with aromas of strawberries and cherries, complemented by a subtle spiciness of thyme and oregano as well as creamy notes of green tea. On the palate, Merose is fresh and fruity, with crisp acidity, good structure and a nice drinking flow.
