The Lagrein Riserva DOC Weingarten Klosteranger 2020 from Klosterkellerei Muri Gries is a true revelation in the glass. Bright, intense ruby red with purple edges. On the nose, lots of spice, black pepper, intense cherry fruit and elderberries. On the palate, some tobacco and dark chocolate, concentrated, full-bodied, ripe tannin structure, long finish.
