The Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva DOC Weinegg - vintage 2021 - from Thurnhof is an elegant expression of its origin and the skill of the Berger family. With a deep ruby red in the glass, it presents itself in its color, while its scent is dominated by intense aromas of blackcurrants, ripe cherries and fine herbs. A touch of vanilla and oak gives it an extra dimension and depth. This red wine is made from carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that grow in the Thurnhof vineyards.
The Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety is known for its powerful tannins, its complex aroma of dark fruits and its ability to gain richness and refinement with age. The aging process in oak barrels gives the wine additional structure and complexity, which allows it to develop optimally and develop its characteristic aromas
.
The term “Riserva” characterizes wines of exceptional quality and maturity that have undergone a longer aging period in barrel and in bottle. This gives Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva DOC Weinegg its remarkable depth, full body and finesse.
