The Pinot Grigio DOC Fallwind 2023 presents a delicate bouquet of fresh fruits, including notes of green apples and citrus fruits, accompanied by floral nuances. In the glass, it shows a pale straw yellow with light greenish reflections, highlighting its freshness. On the palate, it unfolds a fresh and lively character, with a balanced acidity structure and a pleasant mineral finish. The grape variety Pinot Grigio, also known as Grauburgunder, forms the foundation of this wine. The grapes are carefully grown in the vineyards of Cantina St. Michael Eppan in the Etschtal Valley of South Tyrol.

The wine-growing area is known for its alpine climate, with warm days and cool nights, which promotes a slow ripening of the grapes and the development of complex aromas. The soil in this wine region is characterized by calcareous clay soils, which impart a fine minerality to the Pinot Grigio. The vine training system predominantly follows the Guyot system, ensuring optimal sun exposure and good air circulation.
