The Blauburgunder DOC Vinschgau 2023 from Kellerei Meran is an elegant Pinot Noir sourced from the high-altitude vineyards of the Vinschgau Valley. The grapes mature at elevations between 500 and 550 m, where cool nights and sunny days enhance the wine's delicate aromatics. In the glass, it displays a bright ruby red hue. The bouquet is characterized by fresh notes of red berries such as cherry and raspberry. On the palate, it offers a clear structure, fine tannins, and a harmonious, smooth finish. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks with a brief period in oak barrels. A versatile red wine combining alpine freshness and elegance.
