The Barolo DOCG Garretti 2021 from La Spinetta is an expressive red wine that embodies the elegance of the Nebbiolo grape. In the glass, it reveals a pale ruby hue. The bouquet opens with ripe red fruits, cinnamon, and hints of hydrangea. On the palate, it is fresh and silky, with refined notes of pomegranate and nutmeg; the finish is generous and complex.

The grapes are sourced from the Garretti vineyard in Grinzane Cavour, where the calcareous clay soils give the wine its distinctive structure. After fermentation, it matures for 22 months in used French oak barrels, followed by eight months of bottle aging – enhancing its depth and complexity. La Spinetta, under the guidance of the Rivetti family, is celebrated for its passion and dedication to winemaking, which is reflected in the outstanding quality of its wines.
