The Tinto Pesquera Crianza 2020 by Alejandro Fernández reveals a clear, vibrant ruby red with violet highlights. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe red berries such as strawberries and raspberries, enhanced by balsamic notes, liquorice, and a touch of vanilla – a nod to its maturation in American oak barrels. On the palate, it is elegant and fresh, with a silky texture, well-integrated acidity, and persistent tannins. The finish is long and harmonious, marked by red fruit flavors and subtle roasted notes. 
Made from 100% Tempranillo, this wine showcases the grape’s typical characteristics: red fruit aromas, moderate acidity, and soft tannins. What defines the Tinto Pesquera Crianza is its balance between expressive fruit and the spicy, vanilla tones imparted by oak aging. The 2020 vintage was shaped by a mild, rainy winter and a warm spring with consistent rainfall, leading to early and even budding. The harvest was staggered, resulting in grapes of outstanding quality.
