The 2023 Riesling Ried Steinertal DAC from F.X. Pichler shines in a bright pale yellow-green with silvery highlights. On the nose, it offers delicate aromas of white peach, floral hints, and a touch of orange blossom, supported by subtle notes of blossom honey. The palate is complex and juicy, featuring white stone fruit, a precise arc of acidity, and a citrus-mineral touch. The finish is salty, refined, and long-lasting, lending the wine a graceful and elegant style.

Riesling is renowned for its clarity and finesse, with delicate aromas such as apricot and peach. The Ried Steinertal vineyard, located on the eastern edge of the Wachau, is characterized by weathered gneiss soils. This terroir brings out the aroma of vineyard-grown white peach particularly well. The wine stands out for its vibrancy, minerality, and drinking appeal, with a distinctive expression of the ancient stone soils.
