The Pet Nat 2022 from the Röck family business is an exciting new interpretation of the traditional Petillant Naturel style. His lively personality is already revealed in the fresh and youthful color, which is reminiscent of light straw yellow and shimmers in sunlight like a sparkling gemstone. The nose is wooed by fruity aromas of green apples, citrus fruits and a hint of white flowers. This unique sparkling wine is made from the Müller Thurgau grape variety, which is known for its freshness and expressiveness.
These grapes grow in a temperate climate characterized by warm summers and mild winters. The vegetation around the vineyards provides protection and nutrients for the vines, which are lovingly cultivated by hand. The special feature of this wine lies in its production process. After fermentation, Pet Nat is bottled before the fermentation process is complete. This creates natural carbonic acid, which gives the wine its sparkling freshness. Pet Nat 2022 is a lively expression of the terroir and a real treat for lovers of naturally sparkling wines.
