The Weißburgunder Ton & Mergel Südsteiermark DAC BIO 2020 from Weingut Tement is a biodynamic Pinot Blanc with energy, structure, and finesse. Sourced from eight top vineyard sites rooted in clay-limestone soils, this wine reflects the distinct character of southern Styria. In the glass, it shines pale yellow with greenish hues. Aromas of ripe apple, grated almond, and subtle nutty tones rise from the glass, while the palate is robust, layered, and highly mineral. A crisp acidity provides tension and freshness. The 2020 vintage is noted for its clarity and balance. Hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented, and aged six months on fine lees in stainless steel, this wine fully expresses its terroir. The Südsteiermark DAC designation confirms its origin and high quality, while the Tement family’s commitment to organic farming and gentle winemaking ensures authenticity in every bottle.
