The Sauvignon Riserva DOC Vigna Rachtl 2021 from Tiefenbrunner is a remarkable South Tyrolean white wine known for elegance and aging potential. Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, it displays a bright straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose reveals intense, layered aromas of gooseberry, elderflower, grapefruit, fine herbs, and a touch of minerality. On the palate, it is elegant and vibrant with creamy texture and a long, salty-mineral finish.
As a Riserva, this wine was aged longer – in large oak barrels and on fine lees – gaining depth, complexity, and long-term structure. A top-tier Sauvignon reflecting the unique terroir of the Vigna Rachtl single vineyard.
