The Pinot Nero Riserva Aegis DOC 2020 from Kollerhof is an exceptional Pinot Noir crafted only in outstanding vintages. The 2020 growing season offered ideal conditions for ripe fruit expression and freshness. As a Riserva, it is aged for 18 months in 500 l French oak barrels followed by 18 months in bottle—resulting in depth and refined structure.
In the glass, it presents deep ruby-red hues with brilliance. Aromas of dark cherry, currant and hints of vanilla woven with minerality and graphite notes form an elegant bouquet. On the palate it’s concentrated, with refined tannins, crisp acidity and a long, mineral-laced finish. Dry, balanced and polished—this wine is a perfect match for game, lamb, beef or aged cheese.
