The Weissburgunder DOC Pica 2022 from Grottnerhof is a single-varietal Pinot Blanc from South Tyrol’s Eisack Valley. Named “Pica” after the magpie (symbolizing elegance), this wine reflects refined precision in every glass. Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed and vinified in stainless steel to preserve freshness and fruit definition.
In the glass, it displays a bright straw-yellow with pale green reflections and excellent clarity. The bouquet includes aromas of green apple, pear, quince, and subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is dry, crisp and mineral-driven, with lively acidity, smooth structure and refined elegance. A versatile white, perfect with light fish, vegetable-based dishes, pasta or mild cheeses.
