The Dolomytos Weiss 2020 from Ansitz Dolomytos Sacker is a remarkable white blend featuring Pinot Gris (Ruländer), Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Assyrtiko, Petit Manseng among others. Grown at 500 m elevation in sun-exposed porphyry slopes of Unterinn/Ritten, the grapes are gently pressed and undergo natural fermentation in handcrafted 150‑liter oak barrels (“Cigarillos”). After approximately 23 months on lees with regular bâtonnage, the wine matures 1–2 years in a unique underground tunnel. The result is a layered white wine with oxidative structure and classic Burgundian elegance, capable of aging for over 15 years.
In the glass it appears brilliant straw‑yellow. The bouquet reveals layered aromas of ripe tropical fruit, chamomile, apricot, peach, honey and almond spices. On the palate it combines mineral clarity with creamy texture, vibrant acidity and impressive complexity. A distinctive white wine with personality and longevity.
