The Lagrein Riserva DOC Linticlarus 2021 from Tiefenbrunner is a characterful red wine from South Tyrol, made from the indigenous Lagrein grape. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red with violet reflections. The nose reveals an elegant and complex bouquet of ripe forest berries, sour cherry, dark chocolate, and spicy hints of tobacco and fine leather. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, with well-integrated, velvety tannins and a fresh, balanced acidity.
Careful aging in oak barrels adds complexity and aging potential. A Riserva that combines strength and finesse, highlighting the full expression of the Lagrein grape.
