Franciacorta
The Franciacorta Brut from Caruna comes from the prestigious Franciacorta region in Lombardy. Made predominantly from Chardonnay (sometimes blended with Pinot Noir or Pinot Bianco), it is crafted using the classical bottle fermentation method. A minimum of 18 months aging on lees and precise dosage give it a fine mousse and distinct mineral elegance.
In the glass, it displays a pale straw-yellow colour and delicate bubbles. The aroma reveals notes of green apple, peach, grapefruit and jasmine blossoms, with a subtle brioche nuance. On the palate, it is dry, crisp and balanced, with lively acidity, creamy finesse and a clean, mineral finish. A refined Franciacorta, perfect as an aperitif or paired with seafood, sushi or light appetizers.
