The 2019 Riesling Eiswein by Dr. Loosen shines in a vibrant golden hue. On the nose, it bursts with tropical fruit and citrus zest, framed by a lively, focused acidity. The palate offers richness and sweetness, harmonized beautifully by its racy structure. A long, spicy finish rounds out this exceptional dessert wine.

Made entirely from Riesling, a grape renowned for expressing terroir and achieving perfect balance between sugar and acidity, this Eiswein is produced from grapes harvested frozen at temperatures below -7 °C, naturally concentrating flavor and sweetness. The 2019 vintage in the Mosel yielded wines with refined fruit, distinctive slate minerality, and energetic acidity – hallmarks of a classic year. The Dr. Loosen estate, family-owned for over 200 years and led by Ernst F. Loosen, stands as one of the region’s leading producers of authentic, terroir-driven Rieslings from the Middle Mosel.
