The Pinot Noir Riserva DOC Hausmannhof 2019 from Haderburg is an exceptional wine made only in outstanding vintages. As a Riserva, it spends 24 months ageing in barriques (partially new), followed by extended maturation, which ensures complexity and cellar potential. The 2019 vintage offered ideal warmth and ripeness, resulting in pronounced fruit expression and refined tannin structure.
In colour, the wine displays a light ruby-red with a translucent edge. The bouquet is rich in red fruit aromas—cherry, sour cherry, blackberry—enhanced by spicy accents of licorice, cinnamon, and a subtle toasty note. On the palate it is dry, structured and smooth, with elegant tannins, vibrant acidity and a defined mineral backbone. A full-bodied, well-balanced red—perfect with game, lamb, aged cheese or mushroom dishes.
