Chambord Liqueur 16.5% is a luxurious, natural black raspberry liqueur from the Loire Valley in France. It is crafted from a blend of red and black raspberries, blackberries, Madagascan vanilla, Moroccan citrus peel, acacia honey, selected spices, and XO cognac.
The production process involves a double infusion of the fruit in neutral spirits, followed by a gentle pressing to extract the natural juices. The resulting fruit infusion is then blended with the other ingredients to create a velvety, aromatic liqueur.
In the glass, Chambord presents a deep ruby-red hue. The bouquet releases aromas of ripe berries, with subtle notes of vanilla and a hint of citrus. On the palate, the liqueur is smooth and sweet, with a balanced harmony between fruity and spicy. The finish is long and round.
Chambord is ideal for crafting classic cocktails such as the French Martini, Kir Impérial, or Chambord Royale. It can also be enjoyed on its own or over ice to fully appreciate its aromatic complexity.
