The Neustift Grappa Kerner 42 % (0.7 l) is a clear marc-brand (distillate from grape pomace) derived from Kerner pomace, produced at the Neustift Abbey cellar (Abbazia di Novacella, South Tyrol). With an alcohol content of 42 % vol., it appears elegant and well-balanced. On the nose it reveals fine, restrained fruit notes with subtle floral hints. On the palate it is dry, smooth and harmonious, with a mild fruit character and a pleasant finish. It is not classified as a reserve and is not matured in wood, thus retaining its clarity and directness. Serve ideally at 16–18 °C to fully enjoy both aroma and alcohol harmony.
