The Wunsch & Mann Gewürztraminer Grand Cru Hengst 2021 shows a deep golden-yellow colour with subtle amber highlights, indicating the concentration and ripeness typical of a Grand Cru white wine.
On the nose it reveals a rich and complex aromatic profile: exotic fruit aromas like mango and lychee are complemented by floral notes of rose, as well as fresh citrus and orange-peel hints. A delicate spice and mineral undertone adds depth and character.
On the palate the wine is full-bodied, smooth and enveloping — with a harmonious balance between ripe fruitiness, a gentle residual sweetness and an elegant mineral freshness that lends structure. The long finish offers lingering notes of candied ginger, cinnamon and subtle spices, as well as persistent fruit nuances. The wine is harmonious, sensual and at the same time lively and dynamic.
