Bright straw-yellow with subtle green reflections, the Chardonnay Riserva “Fellis” 2021 from Bessererhof presents itself gracefully in the glass. On the nose there is a complex bouquet of tropical fruits underlined by vanilla and gentle oak nuances from the barrel maturation. On the palate the wine is elegant and full-bodied: fresh Chardonnay acidity is enveloped by creamy wood-driven texture, leading into a long, mineral and layered finish with echoes of ripe fruit and a delicate toasted almond after-taste.
