The 2023 “Fluch & Segen” Chardonnay from Weingut Schgraffer Martin greets the eye with a bright straw-yellow hue and subtle golden highlights, reflecting its spontaneous fermentation and wood maturation. On the nose, elegant mineral notes of flint and wet stone combine with fresh citrus and pear fruit, underpinned by a faint reductive character. On the palate the wine delivers vivid acidity, a well-defined structure and a refined presence of oak that integrates seamlessly. The texture is compact, the mineral backbone carries through to a long, lingering finish for a refined and memorable white wine experience.
