The Bergmannhof Chardonnay DOC 2024 shows a bright straw-yellow colour in the glass, complemented by subtle green highlights. On the nose it reveals a refined bouquet of white-fleshed fruits such as apple and pear, paired with hints of citrus and delicate floral undertones, while a light oak nuance from partial ageing in 500-litre oak tonneaux adds depth. On the palate the wine is fresh and lively: the pleasant acidity gives energy and clarity, the fruit is elegant, and a mineral backbone leads to a clean, lasting finish. A well-balanced white wine that works superbly as an aperitif or alongside light vegetarian dishes, fish or seafood.
