The Ascheri Barolo Sorano 2021 is only produced in the best vintages and is a true collector's item that reflects the rich tradition and craftsmanship of the Ascheri winery. This Barolo from Ascheri is an expression of the highest quality and craftsmanship, made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes specially harvested in the prestigious Sorano location in Serralunga d'Alba. 
The wine undergoes a fermentation of around 15 days at 30°C, followed by a longer maceration period using the “submerged cap” technique, which helps to extract the intense and complex aromas. The color of the wine is deep garnet red. The bouquet is ethereal with intense notes of tar, dried flowers, undergrowth, leather, truffles and sweet spices, which give it an exceptional variety of aromas. In terms of taste, Barolo offers a rich structure, balanced and ripe tannins, which together create a harmonious, distinctive and intense experience.
This Barolo is not only known for its elegance and power, but also for its durability, with a development potential of 20 to 25 years when stored under ideal conditions. Typical of the wines from Serralunga d'Alba, it shows extraordinary depth and complexity, which makes it an excellent companion for high-quality meat dishes, especially when grilled or served with strong sauces.

The Ascheri 2019 Barolo Sorano (with Fruit from the Far North of Serralunga d'Alba) shows a luminous garnet appearance with shiny ruby highlights. The wine has savory notes of red brick and rusty nail at the back of redcurrant and wild rose. There is a stronger side to the mouthfeel with grippy tannins. Only 4,200 bottles were produced.
