The Chardonnay Riserva DOC Doran 2023 from Andiran Winery presents a delicate bouquet of ripe apples, citrus fruits and a touch of vanilla. Its color is a bright golden yellow that sparkles in the glass and underlines the elegance of the wine. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a harmonious balance between freshness and fullness. Notes of pears, peaches and a touch of toasted bread give it a complex range of flavors.

The Chardonnay grape variety used in this wine is characterized by its versatility and is known for its ability to reflect the influences of the terroir. In this wine, it produces particularly ripe fruit aromas and a pleasant structure. The Mediterranean climate with warm days and cool nights, as well as the hilly vineyards, which offer optimal conditions for growing high-quality grapes, are typical of this wine and the wine-growing zone.

The soil, characterized by calcareous slate soils, gives the wine minerality and complexity. This Chardonnay Riserva is partly aged in French barriques, which gives it a subtle note of vanilla and toast, while the rest is aged in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness of the fruit aromas. The long aging process on fine yeast gives it additional complexity and texture.
