Château Cos d'Estournel, located in the renowned Bordeaux wine region, more precisely in the Saint-Estèphe sub-region in the Médoc, is a winery with a fascinating history and exceptional wines. Founded in 1811 by Louis-Gaspard d'Estournel, the château quickly gained prestige and is often referred to as the “Versailles of Médoc” thanks to its exotic architecture inspired by the founder's travels.

The winery is now managed by Michel Reybier, who took over the helm in 2000 and has continuously invested in quality and innovation ever since. Château Cos d'Estournel is particularly known for its uncompromising approach to winemaking, including strict selection and cutting-edge cellar technology.

The

estate's most famous wines include Château Cos d'Estournel Grand Vin and Cos d'Estournel Blanc. Grand Vin is a powerful and complex red wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The Cos d'Estournel Blanc, on the other hand, is an elegant white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon.

The winery uses biodynamic practices and attaches great importance to sustainability. Château Cos d'Estournel wines are characterized by their longevity and impressive depth, which perfectly reflect the terroir of Saint-Estèphe. The underground winery, which works with the help of gravity and thus gently treats the grapes and wine, is also interesting.
