The David Fagot winery in Fuissé, founded in 2001, produces exquisite Chardonnay wines from appellations such as Mâcon Villages and Pouilly Fuissé Premier Cru.
The David Fagot winery is located in the picturesque village of Fuissé, just west of Mâcon in the Saône et Loire region. The estate covers 6.5 hectares and comprises three renowned appellations: Mâcon Villages, Saint-Véran and Pouilly Fuissé, including the exquisite Pouilly Fuissé Premier Cru.
David Fagot founded the winery in 2001 and has built it up with passion and dedication ever since. The vineyards are surrounded by the typical limestone rock landscape of Mâconnais, which is rich in history and prehistoric sites.
David Fagot uses sustainable winegrowing methods. He uses phytotherapy, i.e. herbal treatments, to promote vine health. When making wine, he also follows the lunar calendar in order to make optimal use of the natural energy of the wines and give them harmony. The winery is known for its exquisite white wines made from the Chardonnay grape.
