Maison André Delorme in Rully, Burgundy, is known for its artisanal Crémants de Bourgogne. These sparkling wines, including Blanc de Blancs Brut and Rosé Brut, regularly receive international awards.
The Maison André Delorme winery was founded in 1942 by André Delorme after he was injured in the Second World War and returned to Rully in Burgundy. There he decided to found his own Maison for Burgundy wines. André Delorme's wines were quickly received and became known on the best restaurant tables. Particularly noteworthy is his pioneering work in the development of Crémants de Bourgogne, whose Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée was created in 1975.
The winery is located in Rully, a charming village in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise famous for its sparkling wines. The region is known for its calcareous soils and the continental climate, which offers ideal conditions for viticulture. Since 2005, the winery has been run by Eric Piffaut, whose family has worked in viticulture for over a century.
A special feature of the winery is the artisanal production of the wines, which ranges from the manual harvesting of perfectly ripe grapes to precise vinification. This results in high-quality wines and loyalty to traditional winemaking. The estate's well-known wines include Crémant de Bourgogne Blanc de Blancs Brut and Crémant de Bourgogne Rosé Brut, both of which regularly receive international awards.
