.Prosper Maufoux is based in Santenay, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune, and has some of the best locations in the region, including prestigious vineyards such as Puligny-Montrachet, Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet. The winery owns vineyards in both Premier Cru and Grand Cru locations, which underlines the diversity and quality
of its portfolio.Prosper Maufoux is now run by Eric Piffaut, a visionary who respects tradition and at the same time pursues innovative approaches to further refine the estate's wines. Under his leadership, the winery was renovated and winemaking methods modernized without losing connection with traditional Burgundian techniques. Piffaut's focus is on sustainability and precision in order to optimally express the characteristics of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties.
