Ruinart
Ruinart, the oldest champagne house in the world, was founded in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart. It is located in the renowned Champagne region, more specifically in Reims. The house was born out of the vision of Dom Thierry Ruinart, a Benedictine monk whose findings about the rising popularity of “vin de bulles” (sparkling
wine) in France led to this groundbreaking foundation. The winery is now owned by LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton) and is managed by Frédéric Dufour, who is president of the house. The management of the winery is a sign of a long tradition and deep-rooted values that emphasize both the quality and authenticity of their champagnes.
