Didier Dagueneau

The wines of Domaine Didier Dagueneau are appreciated by wine connoisseurs all over the world for their complexity and expressiveness.

Didier Dagueneau was a renowned winemaker from the Loire Valley in France who was known for his exceptional Sauvignon Blanc wines from the Pouilly-Fumé appellation. His winery, Domaine Didier Dagueneau, is located in Saint-Andelain and covers around 12 hectares of vineyards.
Dagueneau pursued the goal of producing the best Sauvignon Blanc in the world. His wines, including well-known cuvées such as “Silex”, “Pur Sang” and “Buisson-Renard”, are characterized by their high quality and durability. He relied on low yields and hand-picked grapes to ensure the best possible quality. He also experimented with various techniques, such as using horses to cultivate the soil between the vines.
After his tragic death in 2008, his son Louis-Benjamin Dagueneau took over the estate and has continued his father's tradition ever since. Under his management, the winery has continued to produce the highest quality wines and has preserved the heritage of Didier Dagueneau.
The wines of Domaine Didier Dagueneau are sought after all over the world and are appreciated by wine connoisseurs for their complexity and expressiveness. They are considered the standard for Sauvignon Blanc wines and have had a lasting influence on the wine world
