Château d'Esclans is located in the heart of Provence, northeast of Saint-Tropez, and is known for producing some of the world's best rosé wines. The estate, whose origins date back to Roman times, was acquired in 2006 by Sacha Lichine, who set himself the goal of creating exceptional rosés and ushering in a “rosé renaissance.”
The Château's vineyards cover about 44 hectares and are mainly planted with Grenache and Vermentino (Rolle) grapes. The estate's flagship wine, Whispering Angel, has achieved international recognition for its elegance and complexity. Other notable wines include Rock Angel, Les Clans and Garrus, each offering unique expressions of Provence's terroir.
Château d'Esclans uses a careful winemaking process that combines traditional methods with modern techniques. The grapes are harvested by hand early in the morning to preserve freshness, followed by careful sorting and gentle pressing.
