Horus

In the heart of Ragusa, Cantina Horus produces exquisite wines that respect the environment and authentically reflect Sicilian terroir.

Cantina Horus, located in the picturesque Ragusa region of Sicily, is an outstanding winery known for its exceptional wines and deep commitment to quality. The history of the winery dates back to 1974, when the Giudice family began producing wine and olive oil for the local community. With 100 hectares of land, 30 hectares of which are planted with vines and the rest is dedicated to almonds and olives, Cantina Horus has an important place in Sicilian agriculture.

A special feature of the winery is its environmentally friendly philosophy and sustainable farming methods. Cantina Horus is proud to use chemical-free practices to protect consumer health and the environment. The winery uses traditional techniques combined with modern innovation to produce wines that authentically reflect the region's terroir. The winery itself is harmoniously integrated into the landscape and is completely insulated with natural cork, which provides excellent conditions for wine storage.

The winery benefits from a warm Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. The vineyards stretch between the Acate River and the city of Vittoria and thrive on sandy and calcareous soils. These conditions are ideal for growing grapes such as Nero d'Avola, Insolia and Moscato, which are known for their intense aromas and characteristic minerality.
