Reyter
In the heart of Bolzano, where the Talfer and Eisack rivers shape the landscape, is the Reyter winery, which enjoys an ideal environment for winegrowing. The climate in South Tyrol, with over 300 days of sunshine a year and a combination of summer warmth and mild winter, creates perfect conditions for cultivating Lagrein grapes. This special location in Gries, often referred to as Lagrein Island, is characterized by sandy-loamy soils with porphyry content, which provide an excellent basis for wines with strong character.
Weingut Reyter pursues a philosophy of sustainability and naturalness in viticulture. Since 1996, the vines have been cultivated according to certified ecological principles, resulting in high-quality organic wines. The craft of winemaking is very important here, with the aim of being able to capture the uniqueness of nature in every bottle. The gentle and careful processing in the vineyard and cellar ensures that the wine retains its authentic note and reflects the values of honesty and down-to-earthness.
In addition to traditional vine care, the winery promotes soil biodiversity through targeted sowing, which not only increases the quality of the grapes but also protects the environment. Each sip of Reyter wine thus reflects the winery's deep commitment and respect for its environment and tradition.
