Taschlerhof
The Taschlerhof winery, founded in 2000, has developed from humble beginnings into a renowned producer of first-class wines. Originally only 0.8 hectares in size, the winery now covers 5.5 hectares and produces around 45,000 bottles a year. Inspired by the large wineries in Piedmont, Tuscany, Wachau and Styria, the Taschlerhof strives to produce elegant wines that retain their quality even after years.
Vinification at Taschlerhof combines traditional and modern techniques: 60% of wines mature in steel tanks to preserve freshness and fruitiness, while 40% are aged in wooden barrels, which gives them structure and good aging potential. The wines mature in constant contact with the fine yeast until bottling in late spring, which contributes to their complexity and balanced character.
