Abraham Winery, located in Appiano on South Tyrol’s Wine Road, has earned a reputation as one of the most promising artisan wine producers in the region. Since 2011, the estate has been run by Martin and Marlies Abraham, who are dedicated to crafting wines with quality, sustainability, and a deep connection to their origins.
The vineyards lie at altitudes between 450 and 700 meters, offering ideal conditions and diverse soils. Through careful, minimal-intervention viticulture and precise cellar work, the wines express purity, texture, and authentic terroir.
The Upupa line, named after the hoopoe bird native to the surrounding vineyards, captures the essence of the winery’s style: expressive, handcrafted wines with a strong sense of place. Organic principles and traditional craftsmanship are at the core of the process.
Abraham’s philosophy is clear: South Tyrolean wines that reflect their roots – honest, structured, and built to last.
