Brunnenhof Mazzon, led by Kurt and Johanna Rottensteiner, is picturesquely located in Mazzon, nestled between the rolling hills of the lowlands and the majestic royal meadow. The vineyards, located between 400 and 450 meters above sea level, enjoy the perfect microclimate, which is protected by the Königswiese mountain ridge.
The winery is proud of its diverse grape varieties, which thrive in the various locations. Gewürztraminer grows in areas that are less exposed to wind, while Manzoni Bianco and Lagrein take root on the rubble cones of the Trudner Bach and in the Upper Vill.
The Rottensteiners cultivate their vineyards with great care and passion in accordance with ecological guidelines. This preserves the vitality and abundance of the vineyards, which is later reflected in the unmistakable characteristics of their wines.
Brunnenhof Mazzon stands for quality, tradition and love for craftsmanship. Under the leadership of Kurt and Johanna Rottensteiner, the winery becomes a place where nature is in harmony with winemaking and every wine bears the story and passion of the Rottensteiner family.
