Pfitscher

The Pfitscher winery is located in the diverse landscapes of South Tyrol, where it cultivates various vineyards in six different municipalities. Working in the vineyard is anything but easy, with slopes of up to 100 percent and often difficult climatic conditions that make the use of machinery almost impossible. But it is precisely these challenging conditions that give Pfitscher wines their unique character and exceptional quality.

The steep slopes allow the sun's rays to reach the vines optimally, which gives the wines a special style. In Neumarkt, varieties such as Lagrein, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer grow on sandy rubble soil. In Kurtatsch, heat-loving grape varieties benefit from intensive sunlight, while in Völs am Schlern at an altitude of 900 meters, Sauvignon and Müller Thurgau develop their typical acidity and freshness.

Auer offers ideal conditions for vines that love heat, and Kaltern's glacial moraine soil supports harmonious ripening of the grapes. Wine drinkers appreciate the freshness and authenticity of Pfitscher wines, which are the result of hard and conscientious work and the sustainable management of the vineyards. This commitment to quality and authenticity makes Pfitscher wines a true expression of South Tyrol's terroir.
