In 1956, eleven farmers from Trentino came together to found the Cantina Sociale di Trento. Their aim was to achieve benefits both morally and economically through joint processing and marketing of their wine production. Today, the winery continues to represent the strength of the community and promotes local production and the protection of the territory.
Since its creation, Cantina Sociale di Trento has continued to develop. After a change of location in 1960 due to the growing number of members and increased grape quantities, it has been located in a modern complex in Via dei Viticoltori, which is surrounded by vineyards, since 2009. The new facility was built according to sustainable principles to ensure environmentally friendly production.
Cantina Sociale has a strong focus on sustainability and organic viticulture, which is reflected in its “Organic” line. The winegrowers of Cantina Sociale di Trento are closely connected to their homeland and cultivate wine using traditional methods that are passed on from generation to generation. The careful selection of grapes and careful processing in the winery guarantee wines of the highest quality.
