Foradori

Founded in 1901 and run by the Foradori family since 1939, Tenuta Foradori has always worked to upgrade the old local Teroldego variety. An important impetus in this direction came in 2002 with the conversion of the farm to the biodynamic farming method. Thanks to the work of Elisabetta Foradori and Rainer Zierock, through the cultivation and enhancement of the old grape varieties, the conservation and genetic regeneration of the autochthonous Teroldego grape variety has been observed over the years. Her sons Emilio, Theo and Myrtha Zierock are still working on it today.

In addition to wine, Azienda Agricola Foradori also focuses on growing vegetables and raising the Grigio Alpina cattle breed to produce raw milk cheese. All this in order to form a complex and balanced agricultural organization. “As guardians of the earth, we believe that our work is measured by time, by the rhythms of nature, by the expectation that plants grow, age, bear fruit, that wine develops slowly in the silence and darkness of the wine cellar.
