Costa Arente
Costa Arènte is a charming winery in the Valpantena region, near Verona. This area is known for its excellent wines and picturesque landscape, which is characterized by historic villas and rolling vineyards. The estate covers 35 hectares, of which 17 hectares are planted with vines, while the rest consists of forests and olive groves. The vineyards are located at altitudes of between 250 and 600 meters, which offers the grapes ideal growing conditions.
Founded in 1997 and part of Le Tenute del Leone Alato di Genagricola since 2015, Costa Arènte attaches great importance to craftsmanship and sustainability. All work in the vineyard is done manually to preserve the quality of the grapes and the minerality of the soil. This ensures that the wines have a natural elegance and excellent aging capacity. Particularly noteworthy are the autochthonous grape varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, which are used in the winery's wines.
Costa Arènte produces some of the region's most renowned wines, including Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena DOCG, Valpolicella Ripasso Valpantena DOC and Valpolicella Valpantena Superiore DOC. These wines are characterized by their powerful structure, elegant tannins and a remarkable balance.
