Johanneshof Reinisch is located in Tattendorf, in the Thermenregion (Lower Austria), about 30 km south of Vienna. Brothers Hannes, Michael, and Christian Reinisch cultivate around 40 hectares of vineyards in Tattendorf and on the Anninger hill in Gumpoldskirchen. Organically farmed since 2004, the estate focuses on St. Laurent, Pinot Noir, Zierfandler, and Rotgipfler, producing wines known for their precision, finesse, and mineral character.

The estate is known for crafting wines with a strong sense of place, shaped by calcareous and gravelly soils, a mild climate, and fully organic vineyard practices. The Reinisch family focuses on native grape varieties that thrive in the region. Alongside Pinot Noir and St. Laurent, they specialize in the rare Rotgipfler – an indigenous white grape grown almost exclusively in this part of Austria.
