The Caroni Distillery has its roots in Italy and is renowned for producing high-quality, traditional herbal liqueurs and amari. Although the company is relatively young compared to centuries-old distilleries, it quickly made a name for itself in the Italian spirits landscape. The founder’s goal was to reinterpret classic recipes for bitter liqueurs without losing their connection to Italian tradition. The distillery combines carefully selected herbs, roots, and spices from Italy and other regions to create distinctive and harmonious flavor profiles.

The centerpiece of Caroni’s production is the Amaro Amara, a digestif that perfectly balances bitter and sweet flavors. Production follows traditional methods: the herbs and roots are macerated, then distilled, and finally blended with sugar and alcohol to drinking strength. The distillery places great emphasis on natural ingredients and on the careful balance of each component to bring out the complex aromas of the herbs.

Today, the Caroni Distillery is recognized both nationally and internationally. Its products are exported to high-end bars, restaurants, and private collections. In addition to the classic Amaro, the distillery now offers limited editions and special recipes, distinguished by longer aging or unique herbal blends. Despite its growing international presence, Caroni remains true to the tradition of Italian amari, continuing to focus on quality, artisanal precision, and the distinctive, harmonious flavors that define the brand.
