Bortolo Nardini was a visionary of his time, emphasizing the highest quality raw materials and careful distillation processes to ensure the unique flavor of his products.
The Nardini Distillery was founded in 1779 by Bortolo Nardini in Bassano del Grappa, in the Veneto region, making it one of the oldest still-existing distilleries in Italy. From the very beginning, the company focused on producing Grappa, the traditional Italian pomace brandy, which has a long-standing tradition in Veneto. Bortolo Nardini was a visionary of his time, emphasizing the highest quality raw materials and careful distillation processes to ensure the unique flavor of his products. Already in the first decades, Nardini gained recognition beyond the region, quickly becoming synonymous with excellent Grappa.
Throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, Nardini steadily expanded and modernized its production methods, without ever compromising artisanal quality. In addition to Grappa, the distillery began producing Amari and other liqueurs, including the well-known Nostrano Amaro, which captures the typical regional herbal aromas of the Alps and Veneto. The combination of tradition and modern techniques allowed Nardini to successfully market its products both nationally and internationally.
Today, the Nardini Distillery is an internationally recognized company, exporting Grappa, Amari, and other spirits worldwide. Its portfolio includes, alongside classic products like the Nostrano Amaro, innovative creations and limited editions. Despite international expansion, the distillery remains true to its roots: careful selection of raw materials, artisanal craftsmanship, and the balance between tradition and innovation remain central to every production. Nardini products enjoy an excellent reputation not only in Italy but also in bars, restaurants, and private collections worldwide.
