In 1995, on the occasion of its 300th anniversary, De Kuyper was granted the royal title “Royal Distillers” by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, highlighting the company’s significance in the Dutch spirits industry.

De Kuyper Royal Distillers is a historic Dutch company based in Schiedam, founded in 1695 by Petrus de Kuyper. Originally active as a cooperage producing barrels for the transport of beer and spirits, the company became a significant producer of Jenever, the traditional Dutch gin, in the 18th century. From 1911 onwards, De Kuyper increasingly focused on the production of liqueurs, including classics such as Triple Sec, Crème de Menthe, and Apricot Brandy. In the 1960s, liqueur production surpassed Jenever, as the cocktail boom drove demand for a wider variety of liqueurs.

Today, De Kuyper exports its products to over 100 countries and is recognized as a leading global producer of cocktail liqueurs. De Kuyper emphasizes innovation and sustainability, partnering with companies like ecoSPIRITS to reduce the environmental impact of spirits production.
